Sundays
A church is simply a group of God's people. We gather to worship him and hear from him in his word, to love him and one another. God forms his church by a miracle of his grace, knitting us together as a family. This is why Sundays are at the heart of life at Hope.
We gather each week on Sunday mornings to worship, and meet to pray together each Sunday afternoon or evening. We would love you to join us!

Mid-Week
Although Sundays are at the heart of Hope, our midweek activities form the other half of church life. There are opportunities to gather in smaller groups to share life and share the Hope we have in Christ with one another.
Whatever age you are, whether you are working during the day and free in the evenings, or free during the daytime, or (busiest of all!) looking after young children, there is a group you can join. There are also groups for those just looking into Christianity. We would love you to join us.
HopeKids
Jesus welcomed children with joy. At Hope Community Church we aim to do the same.
We believe the hope of Christ is for everyone. Most Sundays two children’s groups run alongside half of our Sunday service with age-appropriate Bible teaching. Children will be invited to head out to their groups during the service, and shown where to go. Once a month we have an ‘All Age’ Sunday morning where we all stay in our service together.
Buds is for babies and pre-school children, and Cedars for children in primary school.
All of our children’s work leaders are DBS checked in accordance with our child-protection policies.
HopeYouth
Being a teenager in today’s world isn’t easy. There are so many voices calling out in so many different directions. It can be difficult to know who to listen to and where to go.
At Hope Community Church we want everyone of every age to have the chance to hear about the hope of Christ!
So, we join together with Rock Baptist Church for two groups on Friday nights:
- Impact (Year 7-9): 7.30pm-9pm at Queen Edith Chapel, Wulfstan Way.
- BluePrint (Year 10+): 7.45pm-9.15pm, held at a home 500m from Queen Edith Chapel.
- Sunday Blueprint (Year 10+): twice a term on a Sunday evening, for Hope youth, in a Hope member’s home.
All our youth leaders come from either Hope Community Church or Rock Baptist and are DBS checked in accordance with our safeguarding policies.
