Alissa was born in Turkey and lived there until she was 12, when her family moved to London. She became a Christian as a child, but it was moving to Britain that really tested her faith. She was baptised just before her 16th birthday. Alissa is married to Tim and has four children, Abigail, James, Isaac and Caleb. Alissa loves playing board games and making things on her sewing machine – from clothes to toys.
